Joseph Simes House, Manomet, Massachusetts

After completing an Historic Structures Report (HSR) of this 1863 Second Empire style mansion in the Manomet section of Plymouth with Agricola Corporation, preservation consultants, and Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture, LLC,  Red Hawk Studio prepared bid documents and oversaw construction of exterior stabilization in 2012, followed in 2016 by adaptive re-use and renovation of the interior for a community center with meeting space, offices, and two affordable apartments. Construction completed July 2017.

The Simes House has received a 2018 Massachusetts Historical Commission Preservation Award for Rehabilitation and Restoration and Adaptive Reuse.
