Karle founded Red Hawk Studio Architects, Inc. in 1995. As Principal, he has worked with the public sector and private sector clients, bringing projects through all phases of architectural services from feasibility studies to post-construction. Notable projects include renovation of the historic Robert Treat Paine Estate (Stonehurst) in Waltham, MA, and the Joseph Simes House in Manomet, MA, for which he won a Massachusetts Historic Preservation award.
Active in public service, he has served as a member and chair of the Planning Board and Historic Districts Commission of Concord, MA, as Vice Chair of the Concord’s Comprehensive Long Range Plan Committee, and as chair for Concord’s Finance Committee.
A graduate of Columbia College and the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, he also holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Karle is a registered architect in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
